Ingredients
RECIPE:
2-3 large honey crisp apples, sliced
For the Tempura batter
1 cup flour
1.5 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 large egg
1/2 cup oat milk
1/4 cup oil
Oil for frying
Cinnamon & sugar
Instructions
In a large bowl whisk together all the ingredients for the tempura batter till you get a nice smooth consistency.
Pat dry your apple slices with a paper towel and then throw them into your batter and mix to fully coat them.
Get your deep frying pan hot with your oil and then fry your apples about 1 minute on each side till golden.
Drain on paper towel lined baking sheet. Then mix together your cinnamon and sugar, pour over your apples and coat them till they are covered.
Serve warm with your favorite vanilla ice cream.
