
Boreka Party Pinwheel
Perfect for any of your holiday parties. Simple to make and so easy to serve and eat. Truly a crowd pleaser.Â
Ingredients
For the Meat Filling:
1 lb mixed ground chicken and beef
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Black pepper
1 tsp. Smoked paprika
1 tsp. Sweet paprika
1 tsp. Garlic powder
1 tsp. Onion powder
1 package puff pastry dough
For the wash:
1 egg
1 tbsp. Oil
2 frozen cubes @kosher_taste garlic
2 frozen cubes @pardesfarms scallions or parsley
Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
In a bowl mix together all the ingredients for the meat mixture and set aside.Â
On separate parchment paper,  roll out both doughs into larger rectangles.
Place a dinner plate on the doughs and cut to circle size.Â
Remove extra dough.
Taking one dough add the meat mixture to it. Spread it out evenly covering the entire dough.
Place the second circle dough over the meat topping and press down. Smoothing out the circle (you can also roll it a little wider if you want)Â
Taking a knife, lightly etch a small circle in the middle. Then use your knife to score out triangles coming out of the smaller circle without disconnecting them.Â
After you’ve made your pinwheel, take each triangle piece and twist.Â
In a bowl mix together the egg wash ingredients. Using a pastry brush, coat the top of the pinwheel entirely.Â
Garnish with sesame seeds and place onto a baking sheet.Â
Bake on 400F for 25-30 minutes till golden.Â
