
Fully Loaded Potato Boreka Tart
My Pot Luck Recipe for a Crowd. And what I’m bringing to my hostess for Purim.Â
It also is a delicious side dish.Â
Super easy to make – even though there are a few steps.  BUT WORTH IT. And you can totally freeze this and make ahead.Â
Ingredients
For the Mashed Potatoes:
4-5 large Yukon gold potatoes, boiled
1 container @goldentastesalads Roasted Garlic Dip
*if you don’t have this near you 2/3 cup Mayo mixed with 2 cloves minced garlic, salt and pepper
2 sheets puff pastry.
1 container @goldentastesalads mild jalapeño dip
1 cup defrosted @pardesfarms frozen broccoli florets
Sauté some onions and mushrooms (or any added veggies you want)
Sesame seeds mixed with bagel spice
Instructions
For the Mashed Potatoes:Â
Mash and mix with the mayo till smooth.
Lay on a parchment sheet and gently roll out.
Cut off the sides and keep to rim the pastry laterÂ
To Assemble:Â
Spread jalapeño dip onto the puff pastry sheetsÂ
Add the mash potato on top and spread out well.Â
Add the strips of puff pastry back into the mash potato to frame it.Â
Top the mash potato with the broccoli and the sautéed onions and mushroom.Â
Brush more jalapeño dip on the side pastry frame and then coat with the sesame seeds spiceÂ
Place onto a baking sheet and bake on 400F for 30-35 minutesÂ
Eat!Â
Notes
- if you can’t find this near you, 1/2 cup mayo with 2 tsp. Sriracha or chili crisp for that added heat Â
