Passover Coca Cola Brisket

Best brisket of life – and I’m not even exaggerating .

Yes it takes 2 days to make but it’s really stupid simple and you really want to make it this way.

The meat will be juicy and melt in your mouth with the most delicious savory sweet flavor.

Always use a second cut brisket for the most tender results.

And yes you can use Coke Zero if you want to cut out some of the sugar. But I recommend full KFP coke it’s delicious.

Ingredients

Scale

RECIPE:

2-4 LB 2nd cut brisket

2 onions, sliced

Coca Cola to cover the entire brisket

1-2 onion soup mix packets

2/3 cup ketchup

1 cup water

3 tbsp honey

1 heaping tbsp. Minced garlic

1 tsp. Pepper

1 tsp. Salt

Instructions

Day 1:

Marinate the brisket in a pot with the onions and coke. Let it marinate for at least 10 hours or overnight.

Day 2:

Get a baking pan and make a foil T in the pan with some dampen parchment paper on top.

Remove the brisket from the marinate and place on parchment paper.

Rub the onion soup mix all over the top of brisket.

Then in a small bowl mix the ketchup, water, honey, garlic, pepper and salt and pour over the brisket.

Place another dampened parchment Paper over the brisket and then fold the foil over and tightly seal the brisket.

Bake on 300F for a minimum of 4 hours – longer if your brisket is  slightly bigger

Remove, slice and eat!
