Sticky Sesame Cauliflower Poppers

The best vegetarian poppers that are crunchy, and packed full of that sweet and sour, slightly spicy flavor. 

Super easy to make using FROZEN CAULIFLOWER. 

You gotta try these for the Super Bowl Game or for any party! People go nuts for them. 

Ingredients

For the Tempura Crunchy Batter

1 bag @pardesfarms frozen cauliflower florets

1 cup flour

1 cup almond milk or water

1/2 tsp. Salt

3/4 tsp. Baking powder

1 tsp. Garlic powder

2 tsp. Chili powder or crushed red pepper flakes.

2 cups panko crumbs

For the Sweet & Sour Sesame Sauce:

6 tsp. low sodium soy sauce

1/4 cup Sweet teriyaki

1/3 cup maple syrup or honey

2 tsp. Garlic powder

1 tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Pepper

Slurry (mix 2 tsp. Corn starch with 1 tbsp. Water)

Sesame seeds

Instructions

Defrost and drain your cauliflower and get them as dry as possible. 

In a large bowl mix together all the tempura ingredients. 

Then dip your cauliflower in the tempura to fully coat and then dredge it in the panko crumbs till fully encrusted. 

Place on parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat with all the cauliflower. 

Spray will oil and bake on 400F for 20 minutes. 

In a sauce pan, add all your sauce ingredients and whisk till simmer. 

Then pour over your cauliflower and coat them well in the sauce. EAT!
