No reviews

The dessert we eat as a Side Dish almost every weekend.

TART but with a lot of amazing SWEET BITES – & can we just talk about the OAT CRMBLE TOPPING for a second?

Am I the only one who can eat the whole top part by myself? 🤣🤣🤣 literally I have to make extra because it’s my absolute favorite part!

sometimes I’ll swipe in blueberries or pears depending what I have in my fridge or freezer.

Either way it’s absolutely delicious and takes minutes to put together especially when I’m using frozen fruit from @pardesfarms or @kosher_taste

Ingredients

RECIPE:

For the Filling:

1 bag @pardesfarms frozen strawberries

1 bag cranberries

4-5 honey crisp apples, diced (I leave peel on)

1/4 cup corn starch

1 lemon juiced

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/3 cup coconut or regular sugar

Pinch of cinnamon

1 tsp. Vanilla extract

For the topping:

1/2 cup oil

1 large egg

2/3 cup flour

1/2 cup oats

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

Pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

Mix everything for the filling in a big bowl and then pour into an oven safe baking dish.

In a separate bowl mix together the ingredients for the crumble with your hands, until you have this sand/paste like mixture. Add dollops of it to the top of the fruit covering it as best as you can.

Bake in 350F oven for 35-40 minutes till you see the fruit bubbling and the top is golden and crusty.
