Restaurant worthy French onion soup that will blow your mind!

This is my Hack that I actually did in my own restaurant for 10 years and it sold out every time!

2 tbsp. Oil

6-7 white onion, sliced thin

2-3 tsp. Salt

2 tsp. Black pepper

3 cups vegetable broth

1.5 cups water

1/2 cup sweet teriyaki sauce (I used mr yoshida)

1 bay leaf

Instructions

Melt your butter and oil together in your soup pot. Add your onions, the salt and pepper and mix very well.

Cover and put on lowest flame for about 1.5-2 hours.

Uncover, add in your broth and water. Mix and then add in your teriyaki sauce and bay leaf. Cover and bring to a simmer.

Taste for salt and pepper
