A really flavorful way to bake your chicken

With some of the best Dry White Wine there is to not only cook with but drink!

Bonus this Odem Forest Dry White Wine is straight from Israel. What is specia about this wine is where it is located, up in the north in the Odem Mountains near the Galiel. The cold weather that is snowy in winter and cool in summer, makes for truly delicious grapes whose flavor is like no other in the world.

I’m so happy I get to support them when they can really use our help these days with what’s going on!

So far everything I tasted from this winery is delicious. You can find this specific wine in your local Kosher wine stores.

The chicken has a deep Umami flavor with the Miso and wine and a hint of sweetness from the honey. It’s really YUM!

Ingredients

RECIPE:

For the Marinate:

2/3 cup white Miso Paste

1/3 cup Odem Forest Dry White Wine

1/3 cup Mirin

1/3 cup sugar

1/3 cup honey

Chicken

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Mix the marinade together till smooth and everything is incorporated.

Add the chicken to the marinade and let it sit in the marinade for at least and hour or overnight.

Slice some baby potatoes and mushrooms and add to large pan that’s been lined with parchment paper and oil.

Then top the marinaded chicken on the vegetables. Make sure the tops of the chicken have a good coat of marinade.

Then bake on 400F for 20 minutes. (Uncovered)

Then remove the pan and use the leftover marinade and baste the chicken again fully. Garnish with sesame seeds and a little more honey and bake on 450F for 20 minutes till golden.

Remove and Enjoy!
