Hot Honey Garlic Schnitzel
The only schnitzel that I will really eat.Â
The best thing ever – and OMG easy to make.Â
There is SOOO much FLAVOR in every single bite.Â
Â
These freeze beautifully, just make the hot honey sauce before you reheat the schnitzels and coat them right before putting in the oven the second time.Â
Â
I make a HUGE batch and keep in my freezer and then just pull them out when I want something delish to eat that’s quick.Â
Â
Great for the holidays – also amazing sliced and served room temp over salad.Â
Ingredients
Recipe:
For the schnitzel:
2 lbs dark chicken thighs, no skin, cut into large bite size pieces
1 container of @goldentastesalads garlic dip
2 cups corn flake crumbs
For the hot honey sauce:
3-4 cloves garlic minced
1 cup honey
1/4 cup oil
1 tbsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp. Dried parsley
Red chili flakes or Sriracha spice (as much or as little you like)
Salt
Instructions
In a bowl mix the garlic dip with the chicken and coat every piece well.Â
Then dredge them in the cornflake crumbs and place on a well greased wire rack that’s on a baking sheetÂ
Bake in 375F for 25 minutesÂ
Â
For the hot honey sauce.
Whisk together all the ingredients except the salt. If the honey sauce is too thick add a little more oil to get it thinner.Â
Â
Brush onto the tops of the cooked chicken schnitzel while they are hot
Then bake in oven for another 3-5 minutesÂ
Season lightly with saltÂ
eat hot!Â
Notes
This is the Garlic Dip that I use from Golden Taste Salads. You can find it in your local kosher grocery store or in many Costco’s.Â
