Almond Orange Cookies
I saw this on @ronyohanan account and I was like – I am dropping everything and seeing if this works ASAP!Â
Let me tell you they are beyond delicious and OMG #stupidsimpleÂ
Like have your kids make them.Â
Best idea to stock up that #pesach cookie jarÂ
Ingredients
Scale
Recipe:
2 egg whites
6oz slivered almonds
1/4 cup sugar
Zest from one orange
Instructions
Mix all together and then spoon dollops on to a baking sheet.
Bake at 350F for 10 minutes until tops are golden.Â
Let cool completely. And then eat.Â
This recipe makes about 16 cookiesÂ

You do mean sliced almonds, not slivered, right? What I see in your photo & post are sliced almonds.
I did make these…does the eggs white pool around the bottom of the cookies for you too?
The ones I made were chewy & sticky even though they were nicely browned–is that the way they are supposed to be? I expected them to be crisp and crunchy.
They still tasted good, but not sure if they were supposed to be so sticky.
So the egg whites will pool a little but they shouldn’t be drowning the cookies, maybe why yours were not crunchy.
