Easy Pita Bread Using Rhodes Frozen Dough Balls

Ingredients

Rhodes Frozen Dinner Rolls (1 roll per pita)

All-purpose flour (for dusting)

Instructions

Thaw and Rise:

Place the desired number of frozen Rhodes dinner rolls on a floured surface, ensuring they are spaced apart.

Cover with plastic wrap and let them thaw and rise until doubled in size, approximately 4-6 hours.

Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C).

Place a baking sheet or pizza stone on the lowest oven rack to heat.

Shape the Dough:

On a floured surface, gently roll each dough ball into a 5-inch circle.

Cover the rolled-out dough with a towel  and let them rest for 10 minutes.

Bake:

Pre heat your pizza stone in the oven.

Carefully place the dough circles onto the piece of baking sheet paper and place onto a preheated  pizza stone or stone.

Bake for 2-5 minutes, until the dough puffs up.

Flip each pita and bake for an additional 1-2 minutes until lightly browned.

Cool:

Remove the pitas from the oven and place them in a clean kitchen towel to cool.
